This document contains two sections that govern your use of the MindFlow mobile application: Part I — Privacy Policy and Part II — Terms of Use. Please read both carefully. By using MindFlow you agree to be bound by both.

This Privacy Policy explains how MindFlow (the "App", "we", "our", "us") collects, uses, processes, stores, and discloses your personal information when you use our mobile application. MindFlow is an AI-powered mental-wellness application that helps you journal, track moods, release intrusive thoughts, complete personalized wellness tasks, and observe patterns in your emotional well-being.
By downloading, installing, or using MindFlow, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
MindFlow is operated by an independent developer based in the Republic of Türkiye. This Privacy Policy is governed by the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") for users in the European Economic Area, and the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") for users in California, where applicable.

We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve the MindFlow service.
We do not collect: voice audio recordings (your voice is transcribed on-device by Apple's Speech framework and the audio is never transmitted to or stored on our servers), your precise GPS location, your contacts, your photos or camera roll, your browsing history outside the App, your health data from Apple Health (unless you explicitly opt in to a future integration), or any biometric identifiers.
We process your data for the following purposes and on the following legal bases (GDPR / KVKK):

Sensitive-data notice. Mood entries, journal text, and voice content may constitute special-category data ("data concerning health" or "data revealing emotional state") under Article 9 GDPR and Article 6 KVKK. We process this data only with your explicit consent, given the first time you write or record an entry. You may withdraw this consent at any time by deleting your account.
To deliver MindFlow's service, we rely on a small number of third-party service providers that act as data processors on our behalf. They are contractually bound to use your data only to deliver the service—not for training their own models, advertising, or any other purpose.

We do not use OpenAI, Google AI, or any other AI provider. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to advertisers, marketers, or any other third party. We do not share your individual journal entries or mood data with anyone for advertising purposes.
Because Anthropic and Supabase are based in the United States, the text content of your journal entries and account data may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside Türkiye and the European Economic Area. We rely on the following safeguards:

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy:
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from inside the App (Settings → Account → Delete My Account) or by emailing us. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

MindFlow is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
For users between 13 and 18 years old, parental or guardian consent is required where the user's local law mandates it (e.g. GDPR sets the digital-consent age between 13 and 16 depending on the EU member state). By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and that you have obtained parental consent if required by your jurisdiction.
If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided personal data may contact us at mindflowapp1@gmail.com.
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:
Despite these measures, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the App at your own risk. If we become aware of a personal-data breach affecting you, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours as required by Article 33 GDPR.
MindFlow is a wellness and self-reflection tool—not a medical device, not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and not a crisis service. The AI insights, suggestions, and tasks generated by the App are for informational and self-improvement purposes only.
If you are in crisis, having thoughts of self-harm, or experiencing a medical emergency, please contact emergency services immediately (in Türkiye: 112; in the EU: 112; in the US: 988). MindFlow cannot and does not provide emergency assistance.
For privacy purposes, please note that journal entries describing self-harm, abuse, or threats may be flagged by automated systems to trigger an in-App safety message, but we do not proactively contact authorities based on your content. We may, however, disclose information when required by valid legal process (see Section 11).
We may disclose your personal data when required to do so by law, including in response to a valid subpoena, court order, or other lawful request from public authorities (including the Turkish Public Prosecutor's Office, KVKK Kurumu, or equivalent authorities in your jurisdiction). We will, where legally permitted, notify you before such disclosure.
We send push notifications only with your prior consent, requested at first launch. You can disable push notifications at any time in your iOS settings.
We do not send marketing emails. Service emails (password reset, account changes, important policy updates) are not optional while your account is active.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will:

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before downloading or using the MindFlow mobile application ("MindFlow", the "App", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you ("user", "you", "your") and the operator of MindFlow, an independent developer based in the Republic of Türkiye.
By creating an account, tapping "Get Started", or using the App in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy (Part I above). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use MindFlow. If you are between 13 and 18 (or the age of digital majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher), you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed these Terms and consented to your use of the App on your behalf.
MindFlow is offered for personal, non-commercial use only.
To use MindFlow, you must create an account using a valid email address and a password. You agree to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, use false information, or compromise the security of other users.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download and use MindFlow on a compatible iOS device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, and in accordance with these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.
You may not:
MindFlow is currently provided to all users free of charge. There are no in-App purchases, paid subscriptions, or other monetary transactions at this time.
We plan to introduce one or more optional paid subscription plans ("Premium") in a future version of the App. The terms set out in sections 4.1–4.4 below describe how those subscriptions will work if and when they are launched. Until then, those sections are inoperative and do not apply to your current use of the App. We will notify you in advance (at least 30 days before the change takes effect) before introducing any paid features, and your continued use of the App after that notice will be considered acceptance of the subscription terms below.
All purchases are processed by the Apple App Store. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com. We are not authorized to issue direct refunds for in-App purchases.
In jurisdictions where consumer-protection law grants a statutory right of withdrawal (e.g. the EU 14-day right of withdrawal), you may exercise that right by contacting us at mindflowapp1@gmail.com; however, by starting to use Premium content you expressly waive your right of withdrawal where permitted by law.
We may change subscription prices from time to time. Any price change will be communicated to you in advance and will apply only to renewals occurring after the change takes effect. You may cancel your subscription before the renewal if you do not agree with the new price.
The journal entries, voice recordings, mood ratings, "Release" cards, and any other material you create inside the App ("User Content") remain your property.
By using the App, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to:
We will not use your User Content for advertising, sell it to third parties, or use it to train third-party AI models.
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, infringes the rights of others, contains malware, or violates these Terms.
MindFlow uses third-party AI models to generate suggestions, summaries, insights, and tasks. You acknowledge that:
We do not warrant that AI features will be available continuously, error-free, or meet your particular expectations.
MindFlow is a self-reflection and wellness tool. It is not a medical device, not a diagnostic tool, not therapy, and not a substitute for professional mental-health care. MindFlow does not:
If you are experiencing mental-health symptoms, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
If you are in immediate danger, having thoughts of self-harm or suicide, or experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, do not use MindFlow. Instead, contact emergency services or a crisis line immediately:
MindFlow is not a crisis service, does not monitor your account in real time, and cannot dispatch emergency assistance.
You agree not to use the App to:
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts at our sole discretion if we reasonably believe a violation has occurred.
All rights, title, and interest in and to the App (excluding your User Content)—including all software, text, graphics, logos, icons, audio, designs, and trademarks ("MindFlow", the MindFlow logo, slogans, color schemes)—are and shall remain the exclusive property of the developer or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to use our trademarks without our prior written consent.
If you provide us with feedback, bug reports, or suggestions ("Feedback"), you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use that Feedback for any purpose without compensation to you.
The App relies on third-party services (e.g. AI providers, cloud hosting, the Apple App Store). These third parties have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices. Your use of those services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms.
The Apple App Store is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
We strive to keep MindFlow available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may, at any time and without prior notice:
We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the App.
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from inside the App (Settings → Account → Delete My Account).
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continued provision of the App becomes commercially impractical. Upon termination:
No refunds of unused subscription periods are owed upon termination by us for cause.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy.
We do not warrant that:
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including without limitation damages for loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 50.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: (i) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iii) any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the developer of MindFlow and its affiliates, contractors, and licensors from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Istanbul Central (Çağlayan) Courts and Enforcement Offices of the Republic of Türkiye.
For consumers residing in the European Economic Area, nothing in this section affects your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, in accordance with mandatory consumer-protection laws.
Because the App is distributed through the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply:
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you must stop using the App and may delete your account.
